Some stuff about me

For starters, that’s me, being a lil’ stinker, in a bucket. That’s Patches in the background, she was a Border Collie and my best friend growing up — she lived to be 18 years old.

Originally hailing from a small town in Kentucky, I now reside in Columbus, Ohio, with my husband, Dan, and our cats, Griff, the greatest and Buster, the best. I professedly drink too much coffee, eat my fair share of doughnuts, love animals, love music, read books, hike, make art, and do design.

The skills that pay the bills

Illustration

I started sketching and drawing as a child; I’ve carried that skill ever since. Whether it is traditional or digital, I really enjoy pulling those fantastical ideas from my mind.

Design and layout

I have extensive experience leading and creating print and digital design, motion graphics, environmental work, and illustration from concept to production.

Software and coding

I’m skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity photo & designer, Sketchbook Pro, Procreate, Microsoft Office, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and always learning more.

Branding and strategy

I’ve had the opportunity to work with many different companies throughout my career, exploring, enhancing, creating, and developing their brands and guidelines.

Meet my awesome pals

Griff

Buster

At one year old, Buster’s a little furball of chaos. Sadly, he was mistreated early on and has some scars to show it, but he’s happy to have a second chance, and we’re delighted to give him a home. He’s awesome.

Rascal, 2008-2023

I rescued Rascal in 2008, right after she was the only kitten to survive her litter. We were inseparable for 14.5 years; she’s forever in my memory and significantly impacted my life. She’s forever radical.
